HepBird, different states have different regulations about tattoo artists. You can't be assured any tattooist has gone through any training.

Joe, In order to be a professional Tattoo artist, you go thru the Health Department to get a license requirements to insure you use fresh ink pots and never reuse the needles plus sterilize the tat tool.

I think there are a lot of lurking variables here. There may be a cause and effect here, but finding a correlation doesn't mean there is cause and effect.
