TO cut a long story short,I have had hep c possibly for 30 years.In the last month thanks to my new GP,I have found out I have cirrhosis of the liver with hypertension of the portal vein.This will be my 3rd attempt to cure this disease.I am genotype 3 and was told I would be seeing a professor in Melbourne and I would be on ribavirin and something for 12 months.I am 53 non drinker however due to a severe bus crash.i need to go on treatment for 6 months.is anyone in a simliar situation.Need help!
